Optus APN settings for Apple iPhone 6 Plus

To configure Optus APN settings with Apple iPhone 6 Plus follow below steps. Apple iPhone 6 Plus maximum data transter speed with Optus is 150.8/51 Mbps while Optus is capable of speeds up to 300/100 Mbps.

Optus Internet APN settings

In the main menu, tap Settings
Tap Cellular.

Check that Cellular Data is turned on.
Tap Cellular Data Network
(If this setting does not appear on the device, it has not unlocked and settings cannot be manipulated manually.)

Go to Cellular Data section and enter below information

Password:

Go to LTE Setup (Optional) section and enter below information

APN: (Leave Blank)

Press the Home button to save the APN and exit to the main screen.
Restart the device.

Press the Home button to save the APN and exit to the main screen.

For Apple iPhone 6 Plus, when you type Optus APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering Optus Internet APN settings make sure you enter APN as yesinternet and not as YESINTERNET or Yesinternet. If entering Optus MMS APN Settings above to your Apple iPhone 6 Plus, APN should be entered as mms and not as MMS or Mms.
