Optus APN settings for QMobile W1

QMobile W1 is compatible with Optus HSDPA.

Optus Internet APN settings

Go to App list, tap Settings Cellular + SIM

If your phone supports more than 1 SIM card, choose SIM 1 settings or SIM 2 settings depending on the SIM that you want to use for Optus 1.
Turn on Data Connection.

Enable Use cellular data in For limited Wi-Fi connectivity
If you have more than 1 SIM card choose the SIM card for data connection in SIM for data connection
Enable 3G connection for faster data transfer speeds. Also enable Highest connection speed

Internet Configuration Settings:

In Cellular + SIM Settings, select SIM settings Add Internet APN
If you have a dual SIM phone select the SIM card.

Change the below settings

APN: yesinternet
User name:
Password:
Authentication type:
Proxy server (URL):
Proxy port:
IP type: IPv4

Tap Save



If the above Optus Internet APN settings do not work on your W1, make below changes to Optus Internet APN settings to get Optus Yes Internet on your QMobile W1.

Optus MMS APN settings

Go to App list, tap Settings Cellular + SIM

If your phone supports more than 1 SIM card, choose SIM 1 settings or SIM 2 settings depending on the SIM that you want to use for Optus 3.

MMS Configuration Settings:

WAP gateway (URL): 61.88.190.10
WAP gateway port: 8070
MMSC (URL): http://mmsc.optus.com.au/
MMSC port: 8002
Maximum MMS size: 1024
IP Type: IPv4

Tap Save.


If the above Optus MMS APN settings too do not work on your W1, make below changes to Optus MMS APN settings to get Optus MMS on your QMobile W1.

For QMobile W1, when you type Optus APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering Optus Internet APN settings make sure you enter APN as yesinternet and not as YESINTERNET or Yesinternet. If entering Optus MMS APN Settings above to your QMobile W1, APN should be entered as mms and not as MMS or Mms.
