PennyTel APN settings for Xiaomi Redmi 2

Xiaomi Redmi 2 is compatible with PennyTel HSDPA and PennyTel LTE 50%.

To configure PennyTel APN settings with Xiaomi Redmi 2 follow below steps.

PennyTel Internet APN settings

Open App Drawer and go to Settings Mobile network settings Access point names

Press button on top right corner.

Enter name: PennyTel 1
APN: vfinternet.au
Proxy:
Port:
Username:
Password:
Server:
MMSC:
MMS Proxy:
MMS Port:
MCC:
MNC:
Authentication type:
APN type: default,supl

Keep default values for all blank fields shown above.

Press menu button (top right) and select Save. Done.

For Xiaomi Redmi 2, when you type PennyTel APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering PennyTel Internet APN settings make sure you enter APN as vfinternet.au and not as VFINTERNET.AU or Vfinternet.au.
