Telstra APN settings for BlackBerry Passport

BlackBerry Passport is compatible with Telstra HSDPA and Telstra LTE 50%.

Telstra Internet & MMS APN settings

On the homescreen, swipe down from the top.

Tap Settings, and then tap Network Connections.

Tap Mobile Network.

Tap APN at the bottom of the screen.

Enter the following information:

Access Point Name (APN) = telstra.iph
Username =
Password =

Tap Save

Slide your finger left on the display to open the main menu.

Open Text Messages.
Press the dots.
Press Settings and select Text Messages.
Select MMS.

Press Advanced and enter the following details.

APN = telstra.iph
MMSC URL = http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002
Proxy URL = 10.1.1.180:80

Press Save.


Return to home screen.

Telstra Internet APN Settings

On the homescreen, swipe down from the top.

Tap Settings, and then tap Network Connections.

Tap Mobile Network.

Tap APN at the bottom of the screen.

Enter the following information:

Access Point Name (APN) = telstra.wap
Username =
Password =

Tap Save


Return to home screen.

Telstra MMS APN Settings

Slide your finger left on the display to open the main menu.

Open Text Messages.
Press the dots.
Press Settings and select Text Messages.
Select MMS.

Press Advanced and enter the following details.

APN = telstra.mms
MMSC URL = http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002/
Proxy URL = 10.1.1.180:80

Press Save.


Return to home screen.

Telstra MMS APN Settings

Slide your finger left on the display to open the main menu.

Open Text Messages.
Press the dots.
Press Settings and select Text Messages.
Select MMS.

Press Advanced and enter the following details.

APN = Telstra.mms
MMSC URL = http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002
Proxy URL = 10.1.1.180:80

Press Save.


Return to home screen.

For BlackBerry Passport, when you type Telstra APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering Telstra Internet & MMS APN settings make sure you enter APN as telstra.iph and not as TELSTRA.IPH or Telstra.iph. If entering Telstra APN Settings above to your BlackBerry Passport, APN should be entered as telstra.internet and not as TELSTRA.INTERNET or Telstra.internet.
