TPG APN settings for Nokia Lumia 638

To configure TPG APN settings with Nokia Lumia 638 follow below steps.

TPG Internet APN settings

Go to App list, tap Settings Cellular + SIM

If your phone supports more than 1 SIM card, choose SIM 1 settings or SIM 2 settings depending on the SIM that you want to use for TPG 1.
Turn on Data Connection.

Enable Use cellular data in For limited Wi-Fi connectivity
If you have more than 1 SIM card choose the SIM card for data connection in SIM for data connection
Enable 3G connection for faster data transfer speeds. Also enable Highest connection speed

Internet Configuration Settings:

In Cellular + SIM Settings, select SIM settings Add Internet APN
If you have a dual SIM phone select the SIM card.

Change the below settings

APN: live.vodafone.com
User name:
Password:
Authentication type:
Proxy server (URL):
Proxy port:
IP type: IPv4

Tap Save

TPG MMS APN settings

Go to App list, tap Settings Cellular + SIM

If your phone supports more than 1 SIM card, choose SIM 1 settings or SIM 2 settings depending on the SIM that you want to use for TPG 3.
Turn on Data Connection.

MMS Configuration Settings:

In Cellular + SIM Settings, select SIM settings Add MMS APN

If you have a dual SIM phone select the SIM card.

Change the below settings

APN: live.vodafone.com
User name:
Password:
Authentication type:
WAP gateway (URL): 10.202.2.60
WAP gateway port: 8080
MMSC (URL): http://pxt.vodafone.net.au/pxtsend
MMSC port:
Maximum MMS size: 1024
IP Type: IPv4

Tap Save.

For Nokia Lumia 638, when you type TPG APN settings, make sure you enter APN settings in correct case. For example, if you are entering TPG Internet APN settings make sure you enter APN as live.vodafone.com and not as LIVE.VODAFONE.COM or Live.vodafone.com.
