Sorry, but it does not look like Xiaomi Mi 4 will work on TPG. But please note that the compatibility of Xiaomi Mi 4 with TPG, or the TPG network support on Xiaomi Mi 4 we have explained here is only a technical specification match between Xiaomi Mi 4 and TPG network. Even Xiaomi Mi 4 is listed as not compatible here, still TPG network can allow (rarely) Xiaomi Mi 4 in their network with special agreements made between TPG and Xiaomi. Therefore, this only explains if the commonly available versions of Xiaomi Mi 4 will work properly on TPG or not, if so in which bands Xiaomi Mi 4 will work on TPG and the network performance between TPG and Xiaomi Mi 4.
